  • Candidates apply for one vacancy only in a specific banking outlet (listed in Annexure-I). Candidature is considered only for the opted outlet, and selected candidates will be posted there.
  • No inter-outlet transfers.

Job Profile

Executives will handle:

  • Achieving monthly revenue targets via direct sales of IPPB products.
  • Organizing customer events/campaigns to boost financial literacy.
  • Training GDS on IPPB products/services.
  • Coordinating with DoP Inspectors/Postmasters for sales and operations.
  • Assisting in customer acquisition, relationship management, and channel partner strategies.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Important Notes:

  • No pending vigilance/disciplinary cases; not serving punishment at application time.
  • Past GDS engaged with IPPB (as Territory Officer/Business Associate/Executive) must complete a 2-year ‘cooling off’ period to be eligible.

Pay and Allowances

  • Lump-sum: ₹30,000/- per month (inclusive of statutory deductions/contributions).
  • Tax deductions as per IT Act.
  • Performance-based annual increments and incentives for business acquisition/sales.
  • No other pay, allowances, or bonuses.

Tenure of Engagement

  • Initial: 1 year.
  • Extendable: Up to 2 more years (year-on-year review based on performance/business needs).
  • Not eligible for regular absorption in IPPB.
  • Performance reviewed every 6 months; unsatisfactory over 2 reviews → repatriation after 1-month notice.
  • Mandatory 2-year cooling off after each engagement period.

Selection Procedure

  • Merit list per banking outlet based on graduation percentage (up to 2 decimal places).
  • Bank may conduct an Online Test if needed.
  • Tie-breaker: Seniority in DoP service; if tied, by date of birth (older preferred).
  • Percentage calculation: Marks obtained / aggregate maximum marks (no rounding; convert CGPA/GPA to % using university formula).
  • Obtain NOC from parent DoP organization before applying.
  • During verification: Submit statement of penalties (last 5 years) and Vigilance Clearance from Divisional/Sub-Divisional Head.
  • Engagement starts post-relieving formalities from DoP.
  • Results published on IPPB website.

Application Fee

  • ₹750/- (non-refundable).
  • Pay online; no withdrawal or refund under any circumstances.

Leaves and Service Benefits

  • Governed by GDS (Conduct & Engagement) Rules, 2020; leave payment by IPPB.
  • Treated on duty for entire tenure; counts towards GDS seniority, annual increments, and discharge benefits.
  • IPPB reimburses proportionate discharge benefits (e.g., DoP subscription, NPS) to DoP monthly.

Code of Conduct and Other Terms

  • Governed by GDS Rules, 2020; misconduct → action by DoP, possible repatriation.
  • Unauthorized absence → immediate repatriation.
  • Misconduct during selection (e.g., unfair means, impersonation) → disqualification, debarment, and criminal prosecution.
